What You’ll Do:
The Plumbing Helper is an entry-level role designed for individuals who want to learn the plumbing trade from the ground up. In this position, you will assist a Plumbing Technician with installations, maintenance, inspections, and light repair of plumbing systems in homes and offices. Under the direction of a licensed plumber, plumber helpers install pipes, replace faucets, unclog toilets, install garbage disposals, and adjust water pressure. Your primary goal is to develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits necessary to grow into a skilled plumbing professional. Starting pay is determined based on skills and experience. The Plumber Helper is responsible for assisting the Service Plumber Technician with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in homes and offices.

Assist with light repair and installation work.

Strong customer service and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn the plumbing trade

Previous plumbing experience, construction experience, or trade school training is a plus

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a variety of residential environments

Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and perform physically demanding work

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to use mobile technology and electronic tablets for documentation and communication

High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school training preferred

Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime or adjusted hours based on customer needs
