Are you experienced in sheet metal installation and fabrication with a strong commitment to precision and craftsmanship? Join Kaempf & Harris in Frederick, MD as a Sheet Metal Mechanic, where you’ll work hands-on in a field-focused, high-production environment.

In this role, you’ll read blueprints, fabricate and install ductwork and components, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards—while earning up to $33/hour based on experience. This is a great opportunity to advance your trade career with a trusted and long-standing industry leader.

Kaempf & Harris, part of a family-owned commercial construction firm, is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join their team in Frederick, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components such as ductwork, fittings, and ventilation systems based on project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to ensure accurate installation and fabrication.
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and power equipment.
Install and secure sheet metal systems in commercial or industrial settings, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to support efficient jobsite operations and project completion.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment while following all safety procedures and guidelines.
