Full Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk
Quick learner with good computer skills needed to handle and assist with the accounts payable process.
The company offers access to health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching
contributions, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing:
- Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they match purchase orders and receiving reports, if applicable.
- Code invoices for proper accounting entry.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Petty Cash and Expense Reimbursement processing
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documents.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal staff regarding invoices and payments.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues.
- Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation.
Other Duties:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain knowledge of accounting principles.

Requirements

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficient
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
1-2 years of experience in an accounting /payables processing

Compensation and benefits

$36,000-$38,000
PTO accrual starts immediately.
401(k) plan with up to 4% match after waiting period
Health, dental, and vision insurance available
