Full Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a Program Director to join our team in our Wilkes Barre, PA location.

Starting salary of $62,000 annually, or salary aligned with experience and licensure, plus mileage reimbursement.

Position Details

Developing and demonstrating a collaborative work environment in support of Merakey's Core Values.
Creating a culture that fully engages employees and empowers others to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement.
Providing ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements, as well as requirements from payors.
Overseeing the profit and loss for the program and managing daily operations.
Maintaining productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders.
Overseeing recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.

Merakey's Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) is a recovery-oriented program supporting individuals with both mental illness and intellectual disabilities. Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or another health and human service-related field required.
Licensed in PA or license eligible as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)
Experience in the behavioral health field with:
- Two years in a mental health setting.
- Two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Possess at least two years of program management experience.
