Green Earth Landscape Services is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Landscape Services Business Development Manager to help expand our presence throughout the Florida Panhandle.
This is a new-business development role for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, walking properties, developing solutions, presenting proposals, and closing profitable commercial business.
You will work closely with our estimating, operations, and leadership teams throughout the sales process. Once new business is awarded, you will coordinate a smooth transition to our Account Management and Operations teams so you can remain focused on developing your territory and building the next opportunity.

- Develop new commercial landscape business throughout the Florida Panhandle.
- Build relationships with property managers, HOA and condominium association leaders, developers, facility managers, general contractors, and commercial property owners.
- Generate opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, community involvement, and industry relationships.
- Research prospective customers and identify properties that may benefit from Green Earth's services.
- Conduct property walks, gather measurements, and collect the information needed to prepare accurate proposals.
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, and finance to develop competitive and profitable solutions.
- Present proposals, communicate Green Earth's value, negotiate terms, and close new business.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and accurate customer activity in the company CRM.
- Track follow-up activity, proposal deadlines, projected close dates, and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate a detailed handoff of newly awarded accounts to the Account Management and Operations teams.
- Remain involved during the initial transition as needed to support a successful customer launch.
- Represent Green Earth professionally at networking events, association meetings, and community activities.
- Stay informed about market conditions, competitors, upcoming developments, and potential sales opportunities.
- Consistently building and advancing a qualified sales pipeline.
- Developing strong relationships with commercial decision-makers and referral partners.
- Creating proposals that are responsive, accurately scoped, and aligned with profitability expectations.
- Converting prospects into long-term Green Earth customers.
- Providing clear communication throughout the sales process.
- Ensuring new customers experience a smooth transition from sales to Account Management and Operations.
- At least three years of successful B2B outside sales, business development, or commercial account acquisition experience.
- A demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, prepare or present proposals, negotiate, and close business.
- Experience managing a territory and maintaining an active sales pipeline.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, written communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct property walks and gather accurate information for pricing and proposal development.
- Strong organization and follow-through across multiple active opportunities.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, operations, finance, and account-management teams.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Commercial landscaping experience is preferred, but we are also interested in strong business-development professionals from related industries, including:
- Irrigation or water management
- Property or facility services
- Construction
- Roofing
- Pest control
- Janitorial or building services
- HVAC or mechanical services
- Exterior maintenance
- Other recurring commercial service industries
Experience selling to property managers, HOAs, condominium associations, developers, builders, general contractors, facility leaders, or commercial property owners is highly desirable.
A bachelor's degree or education in business, horticulture, landscape management, or a related field is preferred but not required for a candidate with strong relevant experience.

This position is based through Green Earth's Freeport, Florida operation and supports business development throughout the Florida Panhandle.
Regular local and regional travel is required for customer meetings, property walks, networking events, and business-development activity.
Candidates located in the greater Pensacola region or elsewhere in the Florida Panhandle are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates interested in relocating to Northwest Florida will also be considered.
