*This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (“Diamond Infra”) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027. At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company. *
This role is responsible for the day-to-day corrosion control program. Site Pipeline manages Cathodic Protection throughout Texas Operations (Plant A, Plant B, Oyster Creek, and Stratton Ridge). The CP Tech role will be responsible for performing routine monitoring and testing of CP Assets and working with CP Technologist to develop plans to repair CP equipment that is not functioning as intended.

Manage day to day corrosion control program for Site Pipeline Cathodic Protection program to meet regulatory requirements on assets located in Freeport Texas Operations.

Manage vendors doing CP work (ensure approved vendors are performing quality work and/or seek other vendors if needed).

Aligns with Integrity Management Program (IMP) group for Integrity Management in Corrosion Control and be the interface between IMP and CP to overlap schedules for better data collection working closely with the Turnaround (TA) Manager.

CP/coatings focal point/representative for new projects.

Maintain and monitor CP database.

Monitor and communicate status of assets (i.e. rectifier readings).

Help develop work scope and cost for CP related expenses.

A minimum of a High School Diploma

6+ months of relevant experience

Troubleshooting & Failure Analysis: Ability to diagnose equipment failures, lead root cause investigations, and provide technical solutions for repairs and long-term reliability improvements.

Maintenance & Reliability Planning: Experience developing maintenance procedures, PPM plans, spare parts strategies, and job scopes for turnarounds and daily maintenance activities.

Condition Monitoring & Diagnostics: Skilled in evaluating condition-based monitoring data (e.g., vibration, oil analysis) and using diagnostic tools to determine appropriate maintenance actions.

SAP & Maintenance Systems: Proficiency in managing spare parts, work processes, and maintenance data within SAP or similar systems to support efficient execution and tracking.
