Job Description:
ICE Safety Solutions, a leading provider of innovative CPR and Safety Training courses, is seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Safety Training Instructors.
We are seeking a knowledgeable, engaging, and proactive Safety Trainer / Floor Warden Instructor to lead workplace safety training initiatives. This role position is responsible for delivering comprehensive safety training programs, ensuring coordinating emergency preparedness activities, and promoting a culture of safety throughout our client’s organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced safety professional with exceptional communication skills who can effectively educate employees, conduct emergency drills, identify workplace hazards, and coordinate emergency evacuations and incident response activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct training and consulting sessions (In Person and via Zoom/Teams) in various safety courses, including CPR, First Aid AED, Evacuations, Fire Extinguisher, CERT/MERT/BERT, Disaster Preparedness, BLS Healthcare Provider and OSHA training courses.
- Professionally communicate effectively with clients and represent the company at project meetings, business meetings and tradeshows.
- Be willing to train and utilize of VR/AR headsets to deliver VR Safety training to clients.
- Support the First Aid Product/Equipment division, as required.
- Be willing to travel outside of SF Bay Area and throughout the US.
- Maintain a Monday to Friday schedule with one Saturday a month, as needed.
Requirements:
- Reside in or near the SF / Eastbay Area.
- Minimum of Three (3) years of safety experience.
- Certification in Fire, Paramedic, EMT, OSHA, Nursing or Teaching is highly beneficial but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fun, outgoing, and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Approachable, professional, well-spoken, and organized.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Preferably have 3 years of Safety Training and Safety Instructor experience.
Preferred Experience:
- American Heart Association or Medic, and/or Safety Training Instructor.
- Teaching experience: 2 years.
- Microsoft PowerPoint: 2 years.
- Microsoft Outlook: 2 years.
- Training experience: 3 years.
- First aid experience: 2 years.
- CPR Certification (Required).
- BLS Instructor Certification (Preferred).
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
