Full Job Description

Travel OB RN provides compassionate, skilled nursing care in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn settings. The role supports patients and families through labor, delivery, and early postpartum care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This contract offers up to $3,240 per week in the South San Jose area.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Monitor fetal heart rates, vital signs, and labor progression to ensure patient safety
Administer medications and assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures
Educate and support mothers and families on postpartum and newborn care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications:

Current CA RN License
1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Recent Mother-Baby/Newborn experience
Current BLS certification
Current NRP certification
Current STABLE certification
Fetal Heart Monitoring certification – updated every two years
