Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery | Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN
Our close-knit Labor & Delivery unit is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas, 75033
Work hours: Full-Time (36 hours/week) and Part-Time (24 hours/week) Nights; PRN Nights; 12-hour shifts

Sign-on Bonus: $12,000 sign-on bonus for eligible Full-Time and Part-Time RN positions. PRN positions are not eligible.

Labor & Delivery Department highlights:

Average 120 deliveries per month
Focused on the experience of all who enter the hospital
Promote family-centered care

Supportive of the patient’s vision of the Labor & Delivery process

Here’s What You Need

Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
BSN preferred
One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
One-year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Required (RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care.)
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required
IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring 6 Months Required
NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required

What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
