Our client is seeking an Outpatient Quality Improvement Consultant to support physician practices, outpatient clinics, and ambulatory healthcare organizations in improving patient outcomes, preventive care performance, and operational efficiency across multiple states.
This role partners with providers, practice leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to evaluate workflows, analyze quality metrics, identify care gaps, and support performance improvement initiatives in outpatient healthcare settings. The organization offers a collaborative, remote-first culture focused on advancing quality care delivery and population health outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, healthcare administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in outpatient healthcare, physician practice operations, population health, managed care, or ambulatory quality improvement
- Experience with HEDIS, preventive care metrics, chronic disease management, or value-based care initiatives
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis, PDSA, and process mapping
- Experience interpreting EHR data, quality dashboards, and provider performance metrics
- Strong communication and provider relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
