Join a Growing Accounting Firm
Fiore Accounting & Tax Services is a growing bookkeeping, tax, and payroll firm dedicated to helping small businesses reach their full potential. We're looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team and build lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients.
We believe great bookkeeping is about more than accurate financial records—it's about providing exceptional service, communicating proactively, and helping business owners make informed decisions. If you're someone who enjoys taking ownership of your work, solving problems, and working with a collaborative team, we'd love to meet you.
We're looking for someone with at least four years of bookkeeping experience managing multiple small business clients in QuickBooks Online.
What You'll Do
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you'll manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions on both a cash and accrual basis
- Reconciling bank, credit card, loan, and payment processor accounts
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing month-end bookkeeping files and supporting workpapers for manager review
- Communicating with clients by email and phone to answer questions and request information
- Following up with clients to obtain outstanding information needed to complete their bookkeeping
- Maintaining accurate and organized client records
- Collaborating with teammates to ensure an exceptional client experience
The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new technology, enjoys meeting with clients, and is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor—or is willing to become certified. Because we serve clients across the country, technology and communication are essential to how we work.
A Typical Day
No two days are exactly the same, but your day may include:
- Reviewing your client task list and checking for new messages or updates
- Reconciling bank, credit card, and loan accounts while researching transactions that don't match
- Following up with clients to request missing documents or clarification needed to complete their bookkeeping
- Proactively communicating with clients and keeping requests moving until you have the information needed to finish the work
- Preparing month-end workpapers and organizing client files for manager review
- Meeting with clients to answer bookkeeping questions and provide support
- Collaborating with teammates to solve more complex accounting issues
- Learning new software and helping improve internal processes
Success in this role requires more than technical bookkeeping skills. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their client work, communicates proactively, follows through on outstanding requests, and keeps projects moving rather than waiting for clients to respond. We value accuracy, initiative, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
