Field & Technical Services LLC (FTS) has an immediate need for a part-time, Operation, Maintenance, & Monitoring Technician based out of our Gainesville, Florida office (candidate may also do work at our Baldwin, FL location). The ideal candidate would live in Gainesville (or in between Gainesville & Baldwin) and would be willing to work on average 24 hours per week with ability to work up to 40 hours per week on occasion. *There is an opportunity for this to become a full-time position for the ideal candidate and someone who is willing to travel.*
General responsibilities include both field and office work, mechanical/electrical upkeep, trouble-shooting of industrial wastewater treatment plant components, groundwater pumping systems, vegetation management, sampling of groundwater and treated water, including subsequent data entry and reporting.
Experience working with mechanical / electrical systems and basic computer skills will be necessary. Valid driver’s license a must. Hourly pay commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED.
Travel is necessary in certain instances between our Gainesville and Baldwin sites.
Candidate must be self-motivated, willing to work alone (and with team members), dedicated, attentive to detail, and very organized. This position requires working outdoors and, at times, in inclement weather. Pay commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Education/Certifications:
The Salary Range for this position is $20-24 per hour, depending on experience.
