Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to oversee daily operations, and ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with strategic goals. This role leads operational planning, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination to drive excellence in program and service performance in a growing non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives
Oversee day-to-day business operations across programs and departments
Monitor performance metrics and optimize processes for outcomes, efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Lead, mentor, and manage program coordinators, managers and operational staff
Evaluate and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and execution
Assists with strategic, technical, and process-driven aspects of fundraising, ensuring efficient stewardship and donor cultivation
Maintains positive relations with community partners and donors
Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards as well as funder requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
Keep executive director informed by generating, reviewing and analyzing reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
Attend community meetings
Assumes duties of Executive Director when the director is absent.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in operations or management roles
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Works effectively with all stakeholders
Proficient in Excel, Word, and data collection systems
Ability and initiative to work independently within standards and policy guidelines
Ability to interact with a diverse population in a positive manner
Knowledge of area resources
Possess a valid driver's license

Work Environment: Typically office-based, with travel throughout a three county region, indoor and outdoor work may include areas with noise, dust, or weather conditions and may require extended hours to meet business demands

Physical Requirements: Regular walking, standing, and manual dexterity for computer use or interacting with materials. Lifting items weighing 5-30 pounds, with occasional lifting items up to 40 pounds. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to manage fast-paced, and stressful environments. Clarity of vision (both close and at a distance) and normal hearing range are generally required.

Schedule is generally Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM, with ocasional evening and weekend hours.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
