Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Front Desk Receptionist - We are seeking an experienced, friendly, efficient, Front Desk Receptionist to join our fast paced practice located in Clayton, NC. In this role, you are providing exceptional customer service for our patients to ensure they have a positive experience with their healthcare needs.

Responsibilities - Check in/check out appointments. Answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, enter all pertinent patient demographics into EMR, scanning, documentation, daily appointment confirmations, managing patient records, faxing. Communicate effectively with coworkers and staff to route and coordinate messages from patients and other provider offices. Process copays and balances. Maintain a clean and organized work space.

Experience Required - High school diploma, previous medical receptionist is mandatory candidates with at least 1-3 years experience. Candidates without experience will not be considered.

Medical terminology, proficiency in using electronic medical records, (EMR) systems and basic medical software. Microsoft Outlook email.

Strong organizational and excellent communication skills, professionalism, attention to details.

Pay range from $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule - Monday to Thursday

Desired Experience:

High school diploma/GED required
1+ years' experience in a medical front office.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software
