Job Responsibilities:

Working with carbide materials supplied by our press and extrusion operations…
Carefully read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Transfer specifications to proper machine set up and/or program application.
Set up and operate various manual and CNC machines. Follow precise and detailed procedures to ensure the ability to meet tight tolerances and minimize risk of defects.
Carefully monitor a work cell of cutting, turning, milling, and grinding machines with a range of technology and automation.
Recommend and make necessary program adjustments directly at the machine (G&M Codes) and/or at CAD/CAM software level.
Utilize precise measuring equipment such as comparators, calipers, and micrometers to gauge parts.
Be part of our pursuit to always improve. Provide your ideas and expertise to identify opportunities to improve productivity, product quality, and decrease down-time.
Safety is always a top priority. Help identify any hazards or ergonomic challenges, and potential corrections. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.
We welcome experience with precision CNC machining operations.
We also welcome trainees. Come ready to learn and we will train you.
