Position Overview

Are you passionate about food, hospitality, customer service, and creating memorable guest experiences?

Ardor Park is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Line Cook / Pizza Cook who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role combines culinary execution with guest interaction, making it ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy both cooking and creating exceptional customer experiences.

As a key member of our restaurant team, you will prepare high-quality wood-fired pizzas, support kitchen operations, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to outstanding guest satisfaction. Our open kitchen concept allows you to showcase your culinary skills while engaging directly with customers.

ResponsibilitiesCulinary & Food Preparation

Prepare and cook wood-fired pizzas with consistency and attention to detail
Stretch dough, manage toppings, and oversee pizza production
Monitor and manage wood-fired oven temperatures
Complete food preparation, station setup, and kitchen organization
Follow recipes, portion standards, and quality control procedures
Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe workstations
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

Customer Service & Hospitality

Deliver exceptional customer service and guest experiences
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner
Answer menu questions and provide product recommendations
Assist with dine-in, takeout, curbside pickup, and order fulfillment
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
Support guest satisfaction, customer retention, and repeat business
Represent the Ardor brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and hospitality

Teamwork & Operations

Collaborate with cooks, servers, cashiers, and leadership
Support restaurant operations during peak service periods
Adapt to changing menus, specials, and business needs
Assist teammates as needed to ensure smooth service
Contribute to a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and accountability

Required Qualifications

Previous experience as a Line Cook, Pizza Cook, Prep Cook, Kitchen Team Member, or Food Service Professional preferred
Experience making pizza and working with dough preferred
Strong customer service and hospitality skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Flexible and dependable with scheduling
Food Safety or Sanitation Certification preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
