Job Title: Receptionist

Performance Responsibilities and Job Tasks

Greet, welcome, and direct guests, clients, and employees with a professional and friendly demeanor.

Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Operate office equipment such as but not limited to: fax/copiers, laminating and cutting materials, door answering system, create badges, camera, and basic knowledge of conference room equipment.

Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, packages, faxes and other materials received at the front desk. Check in packages in coordination with business office procedures. Postage Machine maintenance, reloading, and running reports for billing to departments.

Good computer skills to use Google suite of applications, Canva, maintain staff directory on website, and various other software products used at ESU 13.

Manage and track checkout of vehicles via checkout book and shared calendar. Report mileage usage for vehicles. Coordinate with facilities for vehicle maintenance.

As part of the Safety committee work with the Safety Director to know how all safety protocols are to be administered for the administration building. Help run drills for safety procedures at the administration building. Monitor cameras in student programs and vehicle barn as requested.

Assist with hospitality arrangements for all conference rooms: including scheduling, set-up/clean-up, accommodations and anything else as needed.

Helps check out and return materials on loan from ESU 13 departments..

Skills to learn to implement and suggest new office procedures as they are developed and implemented.

Participates in ESU staff meetings, projects and committees as assigned.

Perform other tasks or duties as signed by the ESU 13 Administrator, Director or other supervisors.

Complies with the Standards for ESU 13 Code of Ethics.
At-Will Position. This position is an “at-will” position and may be terminated, with or without cause, at any time in the sole discretion of the ESU 13 Administrator or ESU 13 Administrator’s designee.
