Job Summary

Clinical Nurse Educator

Minimum Qualifications

1. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree plus 3 years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care, or Master's in Nursing (MSN) degree plus 2 years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care

2. Must hold an Arizona registered nurse license in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona by the first day of employment.

3. Must be able to meet health and safety requirements including CPR certification, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and drug testing.

Special Working Conditions

May be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations-http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/rmi/vehicle.htm#requirements
May be required to instruct at multiple GWCC campuses
May be required to work multiple evenings and weekends
May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen
May require lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
Possession of a valid Level I DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card required
Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other infectious diseases
Assignment may extend past the normal academic semesters
This position is scheduled to start as soon as possible
MCCCD does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas
