Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking 2 highly motivated and detail-oriented Injection Mold Setup Technicians for first and second shift to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and configuring injection molding machines to ensure efficient, high-quality production of plastic components. Your expertise will help optimize machine performance, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to the manufacturing of innovative plastic products.

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate injection molding machines to meet production specifications.
Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure optimal machine operation and product quality.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on injection molding equipment and robotic systems to minimize downtime.
Follow safety protocols rigorously during all setup activities and materials handling procedures.
Document setup procedures and machine parameters accurately for process control and continuous improvement efforts.
Setting and pulling molds from injection molding machines.
Insert version changeovers on molds.
Assist other departments on an as needed basis.
Assist with covering breaks for the machine operators as needed.
Maintain a neat and organized work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in plastics injection molding within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse experience is a plus.
Basic math skills for calculating measurements, machine settings, and process adjustments.
