Instead of simply telling borrowers which loan they qualify for, we help them understand the long-term financial impact of the decisions they make during the homebuying process.

This isn't a position where you plug into an existing machine. You'll help build what's next.

What You'll Actually Do.

Leverage GetWyz’s proprietary financial modeling and calculations to help borrowers understand the long-term financial impact of their mortgage decisions—not just which loan they qualify for.
Translate complex mortgage concepts into simple, understandable conversations that empower customers to make confident decisions.
Review documentation, originate loans, and ensure accurate, high-quality files from application through closing.
Communicate proactively so borrowers always know what comes next.
Partner with internal processors, lenders, and their underwriting teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, technology, policies, and the overall borrower experience.

Hire, mentor, and train future Mortgage Loan Originators and Processors.
Build and lead a high-performing mortgage operations team.

The expectation is that as a leader, you will be in our Midlothian office initially while we work together to build out our mortgage business. There is opportunity for remote or hybrid work in the future, but only once it is agreed upon across leadership that the team is in a comfortable enough spot to allow this.

We're Looking For Someone Who...

Has 5+ Years of Mortgage Origination Experience with a majority of loans originated being purchase transactions.
Holds Mortgage Loan Originator licenses in multiple states (or ability to obtain).
Experience and a deep understanding of FHA and VA mortgages
Has exceptional mortgage knowledge and attention to detail - experience through a non-depository lender or mortgage broker is preferred.
Loves helping people more than selling products.
Communicates complex financial concepts with clarity and empathy.
Enjoys technology and embraces process improvement.
Thinks like an owner and wants to help build something meaningful.
Willingness to originate and process entire loan files for 6-9 months while in a startup environment.
Is excited by the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
Not required, but the ability to fluently speak languages in addition to English is a plus

However, we are open to working with the right candidate to determine compensation plans that make the most sense for your role as it grows. In addition, we are expecting a more hands-on, in-person role (2+ days a week) in the beginning with remote work evolving with the direction of the company in the future.
