Full Job Description

Job Description:
We are a Real Estate company with over 200 units rental units and roughly 20 houses that we are in the process of flipping. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This is a part-time position with strong potential to transition into a full-time role as the company continues to grow.

The ideal candidate is experienced in property management accounting, comfortable working independently, and familiar with modern accounting and property management software. Specifically Sage 50 accounting and also Appfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements
Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes
Track rent payments, expenses, and owner distributions
Ensure data accuracy across accounting and property management platforms

Software & Tools:

Sage 50 Accounting
AppFolio
Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets

Qualifications:

Proven accounting experience (property management experience preferred)
Proficiency in Sage 50 and/or similar accounting software
Proficiency in AppFolio
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills

Work Structure:

Even time remote and in office
Must be local to the Phoenix metro area for occasional in-person meetings (a few times per month)
Training will be in person for the first few weeks.
Will have work verified by CFO
