Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Healthcare Administration Adjunct Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our students, fostering an engaging learning environment, and contributing to the academic success of our institution. This position requires a commitment to student success, mentoring, and academic advising, ensuring that students receive the support they need to excel in their studies.

Responsibilities

Instruct, guide, engage, and provide professional career and technical training to students relevant to the scope of the occupational objectives for the career.
Prepare lesson plans, including but not limited to audio visual, multimedia and other mediums for use in the online classroom.
Demonstrate and assess technical skills using equipment and supplies.
Maintain academic records concerning the progress of each student.
Prepare and present professional and appropriate material required to the subject matter.
Set an example of leadership in your classroom.
Uphold ethics and integrity of the academic process.
Measure student's progress through engaging the student weekly, using discussion boards, examinations, quizzes, and assignments.
Record grades and attendance in a uniform process and in accordance with institutional policy.
Resolve conflicts and represent the institutions best interest in academic, operational, ethical, medical, and professional matters.
Act as a resource for student development in terms of knowledge and study.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies that govern academic delivery and operation of Cambridge Institute/Cambridge College.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Nursing Administration, or a closely related field from an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent accrediting body, evidenced by transcripts/credentials.
Possess a minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the subject field or closely related field.
Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter through education, professional experience, certifications, or scholarly activity.
Ability to teach effectively in an online learning environment and utilize the institution's Learning Management System (LMS).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
