Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday: 2 shifts available!
9:00 am - 5:30 pm
10:00 am - 6:30 pm
Department: Phase II Recovery
Salary Range: $18.34 - $25.00/ hour based on verified education and experience

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Same Day Surgery Technician to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our patient care team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Responds to patient/family requests.
- Tells patient/family what to expect, when and why; informs patient/family when problems arise.
- Documents and communicates patient's vital signs and any other pertinent information to appropriate members of the health care team.
- Delivers care to patients as directed by the Registered Nurse with maximum attention to the comfort and satisfaction needs of the patient.
- Assists in preparing patients for special treatments or procedures and performs surgical scrubs.
- Assist in chart preparation
- Transports patients as needed and demonstrates a supportive and willing attitude.
- Maintains a tracking system of each patient receiving and disseminating all incoming and outgoing communications for the department.
- Assist staff in preparing for the next day’s schedule. I.e. setting up equipment, keeping unit clean and stocked.
- Uses clinical equipment accurately and correctly when needed to perform basic patient care.
- Maintains an appropriate inventory of supplies.
- Submits appropriate work orders, orders supplies, internal and external special orders.
What You Bring
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Hospital patient care experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year validated experience as a nursing assistant in a direct medical patient care setting preferred
