Full Job Description

A rapidly growing healthcare organization specializing in patient-centered infusion therapy and specialty pharmacy services is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead sales growth and provider partnerships across CO, AZ, NV.

This is a full-time leadership role with an expectation of up to 75% travel throughout the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be based in California to support territory coverage and build strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving market growth, expanding provider relationships, increasing referral opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales team within the healthcare space.

This role will focus on developing strategic sales initiatives, building partnerships with healthcare providers and medical practices, increasing market presence, and supporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare sales, referral-based business models, and the specialty healthcare landscape.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSales Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase market penetration, strengthen referral relationships, and achieve revenue goals.
Identify and prioritize new business opportunities with healthcare providers, clinics, and medical organizations.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, relationship development, and strategic outreach.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Develop forecasts, track performance metrics, and provide regular sales updates to leadership.

Relationship Development

Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, practice administrators, and key healthcare decision-makers.
Serve as a strategic partner to referral sources by understanding their needs and providing solutions that improve patient access and outcomes.
Collaborate with internal clinical, operations, and marketing teams to support provider engagement and business growth.

Sales Presentations & Consultative Selling

Deliver engaging presentations and consultations to healthcare professionals.
Effectively communicate the value of specialized healthcare services to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Develop tailored solutions based on the needs of healthcare partners and their patient populations.

Sales Leadership

Recruit, develop, coach, and manage a regional sales team.
Establish performance expectations, provide ongoing mentorship, and drive accountability.
Support team members in achieving sales goals and building strong provider relationships.
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented sales culture.

Market Growth & Expansion

Identify opportunities for business growth, partnerships, and expansion within assigned territories.
Monitor industry trends, healthcare regulations, reimbursement considerations, and market dynamics.
Partner with leadership teams to execute growth initiatives and improve market presence.

Reporting & Analytics

Maintain accurate sales activity records, forecasts, and CRM documentation.
Analyze sales performance and market data to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.
Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

COMPENSATION

Base Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
Incentive Plan: Uncapped incentive opportunity with an annual target of $100,000 based on performance.

Location: Candidates should be based in either Nevada, Colorado, or Arizona to effectively support the assigned territory and travel requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of healthcare sales leadership experience within infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical, medical device, or a related healthcare industry.
Proven success leading sales teams and achieving revenue growth objectives.
Strong understanding of healthcare provider networks, referral relationships, and healthcare sales cycles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate complex healthcare concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience developing and motivating high-performing teams.
Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt in a growing healthcare environment.
Passion for improving patient access and delivering high-quality healthcare experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
