Full Job Description

Fabrication Lead

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Fabrication Lead to oversee the production of mobile, modular medical systems. This role will work closely with engineers, manage outside fabrication contractors, maintain quality standards, and help grow the internal fabrication team.

Responsibilities

Turn engineering drawings into practical fabrication plans.
Manage outside contractors, schedules, quality, and delivery.
Fabricate and assemble steel, aluminum, sheet metal, and specialty enclosures.
Operate or oversee press brakes, laser cutters, welding equipment, and related tools.
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
Develop shop procedures, workflows, and safety standards.
Train and supervise fabricators and welders as the team grows.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on fabrication experience.
Experience with structural steel, aluminum, sheet metal, and welding.
Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
Experience leading teams or managing fabrication projects.
Knowledge of press brakes and sheet metal equipment.
CNC, laser programming, CAD, and AWS D1.1 experience are preferred.
Defense, oil and gas, or heavy-equipment manufacturing experience is a plus.

Pay

80,000-100,000 a yr.
