Full Job Description

About The Dark Woods
The Dark Woods Haunted Attraction is located at Trombly Gardens in Milford, NH. Our haunted production began in 2020 and has grown in popularity. We provide professional entertainment to our valued guests that is uniquely-interactive, creepily-uncomfortable, and above all, safe. The Dark Woods is not a run-of-the-mill, traffic-driven event. We consider ourselves a Bootique Haunt, specializing in quality acting and set in a realistic, outdoor environment.

The Dark Woods is currently looking to fill the following positions:

Parking attendant (1 opening)
Candidate must be available Friday, Saturday and some Thursday evenings throughout haunt season between 5:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Schedule can be found at https://www.thedarkwoodsnh.com/dates.
Must be able to use their own brain to logically park cars and greet patrons as they arrive on site.

Ticket taker (2 openings)
Candidate must be available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings throughout haunt season between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Schedule can be found at https://www.thedarkwoodsnh.com/dates.
Ideal candidate is hard working, reliable, and honest.
Candidate must be friendly and able to work in a awesome environment.
Must be capable of using a Point of Sale System.
Must possess at least one working thumb on either hand.
Candidate must have a sense of humor.

Build/Cleanup Crew (1 opening)
Candidate must be available on a part time basis between August and September to help with build outs and set designs.
Candidate must be available Friday and Saturday evenings throughout haunt season between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Schedule can be found at https://www.thedarkwoodsnh.com/dates.
Must be able to operate small power tools.
Ideal candidate is open minded, hard working, and reliable.
Candidate must be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday (and some Sunday) evenings throughout haunt season between 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Cast members (up to 5 openings)
We are looking for energetic, creative people to join our cast this Halloween Season (late September - October 31st). If your first thought is "Oh, I can't do that", we're willing to bet you're probably wrong!

No acting experience required - WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
Must have a reliable form of transportation.
Must be able and willing to work Friday and Saturday evenings in October. Full schedule can be found at https://www.thedarkwoodsnh.com/dates.
Must be creative and willing to learn the 'art of being creepy' for some Halloween fun!
Candidates must have a sense of humor and be willing to let themselves be themselves.
