Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager requiring proven expertise in public works construction, contract administration, and multi-stakeholder coordination.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for all project participants and provide executive-level oversight across scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality — from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as primary liaison between the owner, contractor, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders throughout all project phases.
Provide overall project leadership and management oversight, including scope, budget, schedule, and contract compliance.
Lead executive meetings; prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item logs.
Review and approve pay applications, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies, utility providers, and local authorities to maintain permits and approvals.
Champion site safety and ensure the contractor adheres to all applicable OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation to support transparency and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of project management experience on large-scale public infrastructure or capital improvement projects.
Experience with water/reservoir infrastructure or municipal utility projects strongly preferred.
Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar construction contracts on time and within budget.
Familiarity with California public works requirements, procurement regulations, and permitting processes (CEQA, CDFW, RWQCB).
PE license (California) and/or PMP certification preferred.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or equivalent PM tools.
Strong communicator with the ability to lead diverse teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour
