Account Executive (High Ticket Closing) $145k+ OTE
Remote. Full-time, 8am to 5pm CST. Commission based. Realistic earnings $145,000 to $185,000 a year. We are always hiring real closers.
We are a sales company. We build and run the sales teams for a portfolio of growing companies, and we are always looking for real closers to put on them. Apply once, and based on your background and what you sell best, we match you to the right seat at one of our companies.
If you can actually close, and you want to do it somewhere that treats selling as a craft instead of a numbers grind, keep reading. We hire even when no single seat is posted today, because the right closer is worth making room for.
The honest version of the job.
WHO WE ARE:
The Sales League is a US-based sales management firm. Companies bring us in to build their pipeline, train their reps, and run their sales the right way, and we staff those teams with closers we hire and develop. Our people live the same playbook we teach. We are not a soft place to coast. We are a place to sharpen your craft with people who take selling as seriously as you do.
WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS
You run consultative sales calls with business owners, diagnose what is actually broken for them, and close them onto the right solution. Depending on the company we place you with, that might be tax strategy, a high-ticket program, or another premium offer, but the motion is the same. You carry a pipeline, you follow up until there is a real yes or a real no, and you hold your price. The bar is high and the coaching is the best you will find, because selling is the thing we are experts in.
COMPENSATION OVERVIEW:
Structure: Commission based, with the exact plan set by the company we place you with
Realistic earnings: In the ballpark of $145,000 to $185,000 a year for a producing closer
Upside: Uncapped at most of our companies. Strong closers earn more and earn a bigger seat as we grow.
WHO WINS HERE
You close, and you can prove it with numbers. You have three or more years closing consultative deals by phone or Zoom, ideally selling to business owners, and you can back your quota attainment with specifics. You diagnose before you pitch, you hold a premium price, and you follow up until there is a decision. You want to be coached and pushed, because you know that is how you get better. We will teach you our playbook. We cannot teach you the work ethic.
QUALITY SALES PROS THAT DON'T SUCCEED
- You have bounced between three or more sales jobs in the last two years
- You want a base to carry you and treat commission as a nice surprise
- You pitch before you diagnose
- You go quiet the first time a buyer pushes back on price
- You cannot back your results with real numbers
- You need someone checking in to keep you moving
A question worth sitting with before you apply
Walk yourself through your best close from the last year. What was broken for the buyer, how did you diagnose it, and how did you hold your price to the finish? In this seat, that is the whole game, and the application is going to ask.
HOW TO APPLY:
We are a US-based company, and we run a thorough process even when no specific seat is open today. We make no apologies for it. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, and we hire like the decision matters, because it does. If you want a quick gig, this will feel like a lot. If you want a home, it will feel right.
Here is the whole path, nothing hidden. Two steps to apply, three interviews to earn the seat.
Application. Complete our formal application and answer all 15 questions. Treat them like the first sales call they are, thorough and specific. One-line answers tell us exactly how you would treat a prospect, so do the work.
Personality test. Once your application is in, you complete a short personality assessment. No right or wrong answers. It is how you qualify for the first interview, so it is not a step to skip.
First interview, culture fit. We get to know the real you and find out whether this is a place you would thrive.
Second interview, skill assessment. If you advance, you show us you can sell, usually with a short role-play. This is where closers separate from talkers.
Final interview, company alignment. The last conversation is about direction. We make sure your goals and ours point the same way, because long-term only works when they do.
