Full Job Description

Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a growing, family-owned company looking for an experienced, highly organized, detail-oriented AP/AR Accounting Associate to join our team. Must have at least 3yrs solid AP/AR experience - Experience within the HVAC/Plumbing industries is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Controller with timely completion of the AP/AR Process using both our CRM and PO Mgmt systems, including:

- Accounts Payable Tasks include, but not limited to:
- Upload of all AP Material Invoices into the PO Mgmt system
- Verify/Reconcile all info against correct PO
- Resolve any Qty/Pricing discrepancies
- Approve/Close invoices in PO Mgmt system
- Forward copies to Controller for entry in QB and payment

- Accounts Receivable Tasks include, but not limited to:
- Audit all completed jobs in the CRM system for correct info applicable to accurate division sales
credit, commission pymts and revenue splits
- Create internal down-payment invoices when applicable
- Receive various payments in the CRM system
- Create payment batches to be deposited/exported to QB by Controller
- Process all customer credits/refunds/billing adjustments
- Regularly review AR balances, forward customer statements and perform other collection
efforts as necessary and applicable.

- Plus any/all other Accounting, Purchasing and/or Customer Service Tasks as needed and requested by the Team

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years solid AP/AR experience required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with vendors and internal departments
HVAC, plumbing, or construction industry experience preferred but not required
Ability to quickly learn, master and adapt to new software platforms and technology
Experience with Service Titan CRM and/or Kojo Project/Purchasing software is huge plus
