Full Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

Travel position (assignment lengths vary)
Shifts and hours will be determined with facility to best fit department needs

Role Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate advanced imaging equipment and maintain accurate patient records
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Qualifications:

ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Previous experience in Echo Imaging preferred
Ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical settings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
