About Us:
Our privately owned, and managed dental practice in Medford, OR, is seeking a friendly and energetic Dental Sterilization Technician to help us care for our wonderful patients. Our team is focused on helping patients understand the importance of long-term oral health, so they can live longer, happier lives.

The Dental Sterilization Technician is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and patient safety through the proper sterilization, preparation, and organization of dental instruments and equipment. This position also supports inventory management and contributes to the efficiency of the clinical team, helping deliver exceptional patient care.

How You Will Help Patients Live Longer Happier Lives:

Assist clinical team by anticipating needs and maintaining an organized workflow
Prepare and assemble instrument trays for upcoming procedures
Clean, disinfect, and reset treatment rooms between patients
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Monitor and document sterilization cycles
Package, label, and properly store all instruments
Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies
Perform daily lab and sterilization area duties
Contribute to a safe, clean, efficient, and positive work environment

Who We’re Looking For:

Availability:

Able to work shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Please apply only if you meet this availability

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Frequent bending, reaching, and movement between operatories
Ability to lift and carry up to [25–30] pounds
Manual dexterity to handle instruments and operate sterilization equipment
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail

Who You Are:

One (1) or more years of practical experience as a sterilization technician
Knowledge of sterilization processes and sterile processing standards
Organized with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of dental terminology
Effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Ability to multitask while managing time and priorities effectively
Self-starter with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Dependable, demonstrating reliability and a high level of professionalism
