Full Job Description

Location: Jacksonville, Oregon

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Professional to join our in-person team in Jacksonville, Oregon. We’re a pet product company dedicated to helping people live harmoniously with their pets through humane training tools and outdoor deterrents.

This position requires a hands-on marketer who can manage all aspects of product marketing — from digital campaigns to packaging — while working closely with our local operations, marketing, and leadership teams. This role will lean heavily into technical SEO and graphic/design execution to complement our current team.

Responsibilities:

Plan, create, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns for pet products.
Oversee Shopify and Amazon listings, ensuring optimized copy, A+ Content/imagery, and keywords for maximum conversion.
Lead technical SEO: improve site architecture and internal linking; monitor Core Web Vitals; optimize page speed, images, and redirects; manage indexing and crawl health; identify and fix technical issues (404s, canonicals, sitemap, etc.).
Own analytics tracking: Maintain GA4 and Google Tag Manager, define events/conversions, run A/B tests on product pages/landing pages, and translate insights into clear actions.
Manage digital advertising across Google, Meta, and Amazon PPC with measurable ROI, collaborating on budgets, creative, and landing page alignment.
Develop and maintain email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and customer engagement content.
Create and produce design assets: product imagery, paid-ad creatives, emails,
packaging updates/dielines, and dealer materials.
Coordinate content creation for social, product pages, packaging, and dealer collateral; ensure brand consistency across channels.
Support seasonal promotions, new product launches, and marketing calendar execution.
Analyze campaign results and prepare performance reports with actionable insights for the team.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in product-based or e-commerce industries.
Proven experience with Shopify (themes, templates, basic Liquid/HTML/CSS preferred), Amazon Seller Central, SEO, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.
Strong understanding of digital advertising, including Google Ads, Meta, and Amazon PPC.
Demonstrated technical SEO skills (site audits with tools like SEMrush/Ahrefs; schema; Core Web Vitals; page speed/Image optimization/CDN best practices).
Graphic/design proficiency (Photoshop/InDesign/Canva); experience creating ad creatives, product imagery, and packaging assets.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Experience developing print and digital collateral such as packaging, brochures, and ads.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be available to work in person at our Jacksonville, Oregon office. This is not a
remote or flexible position.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have (bonus points): Proficient using AI tools
