Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary to maintain their independence and dignity. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality caregiving services, with a focus on patience, empathy, and respect.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Monitor clients’ health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns.
Support individuals with disabilities by providing direct support tailored to their unique needs.
Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or as a nurse is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of CPR and first aid is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
