Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Diagnostic Imaging experience preferred.
- ARRT Certification (as applicable).
- Active State License (where required).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Travel Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing advanced medical imaging services across various clinical settings, including urgent care centers, emergency rooms, and Level I and Level II trauma centers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in radiologic procedures, patient care, and radiation safety protocols, ensuring accurate diagnostic evaluations and optimal patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, supporting critical diagnostic needs with professionalism and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT (Computed Tomography), PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scans, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, and nuclear medicine imaging.
- Operate sophisticated radiologic imaging equipment with precision to produce high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures and interventional radiography to support minimally invasive treatments.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety procedures and implement protocols to protect patients, staff, and self during all imaging activities.
- Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional demeanor throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate accurate diagnosis and timely treatment planning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to continually enhance service quality.
- Support emergency medicine teams by providing rapid imaging services in urgent situations, including Level I Trauma Center environments.
- Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with specialization in multiple modalities such as radiography, CT, mammography, or nuclear medicine preferred.
- Proven experience working in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, or trauma centers; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating diagnostic radiology equipment including X-ray machines, CT scanners, PET scanners, fluoroscopy units, mammography systems, DEXA scanners, and nuclear medicine cameras.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols effectively.
- Experience with interventional radiology techniques and supporting minimally invasive procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices essential for patient safety.
