Full Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Part-Time Night Auditor

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Front Desk Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Guest Service Representative / Front Desk / Reservations / Night Audit (Tundra Lodge)

Part-time position available. The Night Auditor is responsible for posting and balancing charges and settlements for rooms, maintaining files and resetting the systems for the next days operations as well as working the front desk of the hotel greeting, checking in/out guests and answering phones. The Night Auditor provides excellent customer service to all guests, including any walk in guests and incoming reservation calls.

OTHER KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

Process guest registrations, including collecting payment
Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed
Perform nightly balancing
Perform nightly backup of server
Prepare express checkout folios
Maintain room status inventory
Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Office Manager and other desk staff.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION:

Excellent math and computer skills.
Highly energetic, go-getter, motivated individual
Willing to take initiative and work with little direction.
Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer/client focus essential
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities
Results driven focus and ability to work through to completion in a timely manner
Adaptable to change
High level of flexibility regarding overtime during times busy periods as required by the business

Shift Schedule: Tuesday/Wednesday from 11pm-7am - Days are negotiable and able to adjust as needed.
