Full Job Description

Rising Tide Accounting helps business owners understand the story in their numbers so they can make better decisions, grow faster, and run their companies with more confidence. We are not a pure “do-it-for-me” bookkeeping shop — we combine solid technical work with an intentional focus on clarity and empowerment.

This role is fully remote.

We are hiring a Sales & Client Relationship Manager who will both bring in new clients and own the ongoing relationship experience for an assigned portfolio.

What you will do

Identify, engage, and close new business owners who need reliable outsourced accounting and bookkeeping support.
Work side-by-side with the owner on marketing and lead-generation efforts.
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients — the person they trust and turn to.
Translate between our bookkeepers/accountants and business owners so information moves quickly, accurately, and in language both sides understand.
Deliver a consistent white-glove experience: proactive communication, fast response to concerns, and genuine attention to what matters to the client.
Partner with the Accounting Manager to make onboarding clean and the ongoing service experience excellent.
Keep clients satisfied and retained while naturally identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship when it adds real value.

Who you are

You have a track record of selling and closing professional services (ideally accounting, bookkeeping, financial, or other high-trust B2B services).
You build real relationships and clients stick with you.
You communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-accountant business owners.
You are self-driven, organized, and comfortable with a commission-based role where results drive earnings.
You understand (or can quickly learn) the realities of running a small or growing business.
You thrive in a fully remote, virtual work environment.
