Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Direct Hire Career Opportunity

Reputable Greensboro Law firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their legal team. This pivotal role involves supporting attorneys in managing complex real estate transactions, conducting legal research, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legal administrative support, project management, and a comprehensive understanding of various legal disciplines relevant to commercial real estate law. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile transactions while developing expertise across multiple legal areas within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchase agreements, title reports, and closing statements.
Conduct thorough legal research on topics such as land use regulations, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and other relevant statutes affecting real estate projects.
Coordinate project timelines, track deadlines, and facilitate communication among clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction progress.
Review title commitments, survey reports, environmental assessments, and other due diligence materials for accuracy and completeness.
Draft correspondence, legal memoranda, contracts, and other documentation with precision and clarity.
Support attorneys with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized case files.
Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling phone etiquette professionally.

Experience

Paralegal experience within a law office specializing in commercial real estate or related fields is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent writing skills for drafting contracts and legal documents; proofreading and transcription skills are essential.
Familiarity with legal administrative processes including filing procedures and data entry accuracy.
Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
