Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Manager to help oversee daily operations within a vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supporting the General Manager in managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service across a fine dining establishment. The FOH Manager will play a key role in staff training, inventory control, and operational excellence to ensure the success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including overseeing food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Supervise and train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
Manage shift scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels for efficient restaurant operation.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
Support food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations across all food production areas.
Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff training & development initiatives.
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support overall business profitability.
Collaborate on menu planning and food production processes to maintain quality standards.
Lead by example in hospitality management practices that promote a positive work environment and team cohesion.
Support special events such as banquets or catering services as needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to kitchen management, food safety, and customer experience.

Requirements

Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally with background in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary operations, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with Toast operating system; cash handling experience required.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development; previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred.
Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and customer service excellence.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; culinary or catering background is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous experience managing shifts in hospitality settings is preferred.
