We are currently looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our restaurant team located in Greenville, NC.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist management in playing a pivotal role in ensuring outstanding customer service and support the restaurant's operations are managed efficiently. Working in collaboration with the team, this individual ensures seamless operational flow.

Job Responsibilities:

Associate Management

Conduct training for new associates, ensuring associates understand and are motivated to perform their daily tasks
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
Provide guidance and feedback to associates
Coach your associates and provide additional training, as needed
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on interviewing and making hiring decisions, to build a strong team

Customer Service

Ensure customers are delighted by the quality of our food, service, staff, & safety measures
Respectfully respond to any customer concerns, in a timely manner
Build customer relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests
Foster strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local community stakeholders

Guest Areas

Supervise cleanliness and maintenance of all guest access areas
Monitor and assist with vendor deliveries

Administration

Compile weekly reports from Toast POS and Xtrachef platforms
Schedule and moderate management weekly meetings and special events
Manage reservations via phone or in-person, while maintaining guest seating
Accurately take food and beverage orders via phone or in-person

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, required
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a high-volume culinary environment preferred
Consistently demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Prior restaurant staff training
Exceptional customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in restaurant software and point-of-sale systems. Previous experience with TOAST preferred
ServSafe certification, preferred. Certification is required for this position and training/certification will be provided by the company.
Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to frequently stand, bend, push, pull and reach
Ability to lift and move 30 – 50 pounds
