Job Description

NUBAD, LLC invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow or a junior research associate. NUBAD, LLC is a drug discovery company devoted to developing novel probes, assays and small molecule therapeutics targeting RNA and DNA structures identified as targets in human disease. Our laboratory occupies space in the Translational Oncology Research (ITOR) Center at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina . The chemist will be responsible for synthesis of compound libraries for screening assays. The postdoc will be working with chemists and other members of the NUBAD team towards the company goal of developing RNA- and DNA-targeted therapeutics.

Job Requirements

A Ph.D. or Masters in organic/medicinal chemistry is required. The candidate will be responsible for synthesis and purification of small molecule probe libraries. Experience in carbohydrate chemistry and/or nucleic acid chemistry is strongly preferred. Familiarity with biophysical techniques such as ITC, CD, UV-Vis, and fluorescence is also a plus.
