Full Job Description

Position Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative
Location: In-Office
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay Range: $23–$28 per hour + monthly performance incentives

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to join our team. This is a collections-focused role responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring timely payment through consistent follow-up with customers and insurance carriers.

This position works closely with our Billing Specialists, acting as the primary point of contact to drive communication and move accounts toward resolution and payment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and collect on a portfolio of 60–80 active accounts (jobs)
Conduct daily outbound calls and emails to customers and insurance carriers
Maintain consistent follow-up through shared email systems and phone communication
Identify discrepancies and escalate issues as needed
Ensure all work is completed in strict adherence to established company protocols and processes
Collaborate with Billing Specialists to facilitate communication and negotiation with insurance adjusters
Follow up on supplemental payments and final balances to ensure full collection
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records across systems

Performance Expectations

Adhere strictly to internal processes and protocols
Meet or exceed weekly collection targets (minimum $60,000 per week)
Maintain consistent activity levels (calls, emails, follow-ups)
Demonstrate accountability and responsiveness in managing assigned accounts

Xactimate
Dash
Microsoft Excel
