Director of Sales

Beaverton, OR • Onsite • Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Travel: Up to 35%

Our products help organizations improve safety, efficiency, and workplace organization through industrial label printing, floor marking, safety signage, and visual management systems.

About the role

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall performance, strategy, and leadership of Creative Safety Supply's sales organization. This role oversees inside sales, outside sales, account management, and sales operations while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive revenue growth, customer retention, operational excellence, and market expansion.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and has a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, improving sales processes, leveraging CRM data, and driving measurable business results.

What You'll Do

Sales Leadership & Talent Development

Lead and develop the Inside Sales Manager, Outside Sales Representatives, and Sales Operations Coordinator
Establish goals, KPIs, accountability standards, and performance expectations across the sales organization
Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer experience, and profitable growth
Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent
Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning

Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy

Develop and execute sales strategies that drive new customer acquisition, account growth, customer retention, and market expansion

Establish annual sales objectives, territory strategies, quotas, and growth initiatives

Identify new markets, customer segments, and strategic growth opportunities

Support key customer relationships, major opportunities, and business development initiatives

Partner with Company leadership on revenue planning and commercial strategy

Sales Operations & Business Intelligence

Own forecasting, pipeline visibility, sales reporting, and CRM effectiveness across the organization

Monitor key performance metrics including revenue, margin, conversion rates, retention, and account growth

Oversee sales processes, workflow improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives

Ensure CRM utilization, reporting accuracy, pipeline management, and data integrity

Partner with Marketing and Finance to improve lead quality, forecasting accuracy, and business performance

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Production, Finance, Customer Support, and Company leadership

Remove barriers that impact sales performance, operational efficiency, or customer experience

Align sales initiatives with company objectives and operational capabilities

Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Travel up to 35% as needed to support customers, business development, and sales initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required

10+ years of B2B sales experience.
5+ years of sales leadership experience.
Experience leading sales managers, sales representatives, or multi-level sales organizations.
Strong background in CRM systems, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and improving sales performance.
Experience coaching and developing sales professionals and leaders.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and communication abilities.

Preferred

Experience leading both inside sales and outside sales teams.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, distribution, safety products, or related B2B environments.
Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Experience scaling teams, implementing sales processes, or leading organizational growth initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
