Full Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Bilingual HR Assistant to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for full-cycle hourly payroll administration, HRIS data management, employee record maintenance, recruitment support, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains confidentiality, and can effectively communicate with employees in both English and Spanish.

How YOU Will Contribute

Administer the full weekly hourly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Maintain and verify time and attendance records, including absences, paid time off, and attendance corrections.
Assist employees with payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
Coordinate interviews, background checks, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding activities.
Coordinate temporary staffing needs with outside agencies and employment services.
Maintain accurate employee information within HRIS (Dayforce) systems, including new hires, transfers, status changes, terminations, and other employee updates.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of HR data.
Maintain employee personnel files and records in accordance with company retention policies and federal/state requirements.
Support facility-sponsored events, employee recognition programs, community involvement initiatives, and social responsibility activities.
Assist with semi-annual employee engagement surveys and partner with HR leadership to gather and analyze feedback.
Post and maintain company communications, bulletin boards, and employee notices.
Serve as a resource for employees by answering general HR-related questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and leave programs.
Assist with special HR projects and initiatives.

About YOU

Required

Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
2+ years of administrative, payroll, HR, or related experience.
Experience processing payroll and managing timekeeping records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
