Full Job Description

Position responsible for the successful receipt, care, protection, storage, rotation of finished goods inventory and regular cycle counting. Works closely with purchasing and planning to ensure availability of inventory when and where needed. Successful candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment. Position is full time, offers competitive salary and benefits.

The position of Inventory Coordinator reports directly to the Inventory Manager and is responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized inventory. This includes inventory for raw materials, fittings, hardware, and warehouse(s). For raw materials, this position is responsible for inputting all material movements and deliveries into our ERP. Each material being delivered to a location must be verified as the intended material, and then it must be moved within our ERP to the proper location in the correct quantities. At any time, all raw material inventory should match Syteline with both quantities and locations. The Inventory Coordinator will manage all discrepancies of material issue with the Production Supervisor. This position is also responsible for working with the Production Supervisor to get all necessary raw materials to the correct locations to keep up with production needs. The following list of job responsibilities is a general outline only and is not intended to be absolute or limiting in any way and assignments may be altered at the discretion of management.

Specific duties:

Inventory Management

Input all material movements and deliveries into ERP.
Verify all materials being used to ensure they match the intended material.
Update Syteline with accurate location and quantities for each material.
Ensure accuracy between physical stock and ERP records.
Work with Production Supervisor to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials to support production needs. Stage materials for upcoming material needs.
Conduct routine cycle counts according to the cycle count SOP.
Coordinate import container receipts to both warehouse locations.

Receipt of Deliveries

Prepare inventory locations for all shipments prior to their arrival.
Inspect all incoming deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy of the delivery.
Match PO, Line #, Quantity, and Unit of Measure for all deliveries.
Label all materials prior to putting them in their stock location.
Receive all deliveries within the ERP.

Discrepancy Management

Address any discrepancies in material issuing with Production Management. Work together to make sure all materials used were properly relieved.
