Full Job Description

A Machine Operator III (C) is responsible for operating machining equipment of the company and works closely with Production Supervisor to ensure customer requirements are met.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the operation of machines as assigned.
Perform post production activities as required.
Perform in-process inspections during machining operations or as assigned to ensure compliance with customer's requirements.
Regular inspection/checks of equipment to ensure proper operations.
Assist in periodic equipment maintenance activities.
Assist in facilities' maintenance activities
Responsible for alerting Production Supervisor, Production Manager or Chief of Operation any unusual occurrence and/or damage.
Assure safety standards are used
Other duties as assigned

Competency Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.

General understanding of the interaction between the QMS and the organization's success.
Machinist diploma from accredited trade school or extensive experience in CNC machine operation.
Good communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Working knowledge of written and oral English and Spanish.
Basic ability to understand and use G-Code.
Basic computer skills.
Basic skills in mathematics and geometry.
Job requires exerting heavy forces occasionally.
Committed to manufacture products and goods of the highest quality.

Un Operador de maquinaria III (C) es responsable de operar el equipo de maquinado y trabaja en colaboración con el Supervisor de producción para asegurar que se cumplan los requisitos de los productos.

Responsabilidades

Responsable del funcionamiento de las máquinas según asignado.
Realizar actividades de post-producción según sea necesario.
Realizar inspecciones en proceso durante las operaciones de mecanizado o según asignado para garantizar el cumplimiento de requisitos.
Inspecciones/comprobaciones regulares de los equipos para garantizar su funcionamiento correcto y eficaz.
Ayudar en las actividades periódicas de mantenimiento del equipo.
Ayudar en las actividades de mantenimiento de las instalaciones
Responsable de alertar al Supervisor de Producción, al Gerente de Producción o al Jefe de Operación de cualquier suceso inusual y/o daño.
Garantizar que se sigan las normas de seguridad
Otras tareas asignadas

Requisitos de competencia

Diploma de secundaria o un equivalente.
Comprensión general de la importancia entre el QMS y el éxito de la organización.
Diploma de maquinista de una escuela acreditada o amplia experiencia en el manejo de máquinas CNC.
Buenas habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para trabajar eficazmente como parte de un equipo.
Conocimiento del inglés y español, tanto escrito como oral.
Capacidad básica para entender y utilizar el código G ("Code G").
Destrezas básicas de computadora.
Habilidades básicas en matemáticas y geometría.
El trabajo requiere ejercer fuerza ocasionalmente.
Comprometido a fabricar productos y bienes de la más alta calidad.
