Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and highly motivated Lawn Care Crew Leader to oversee and lead our lawn care team in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and supervisory skills, hands-on experience in lawn care, and comprehensive knowledge of professional landscaping practices and equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all properties are serviced efficiently, safely, and consistently to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the lawn care crew on a daily basis.
- Ensure all assigned properties are completed efficiently, accurately, and within the scheduled timeframe.
- Supervise multiple property routes while maintaining a fast-paced and organized workflow.
- Perform hands-on lawn care and landscaping duties alongside the crew and lead by example.
- Operate and have a strong working knowledge of all standard lawn care and landscaping equipment, including mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers, and other related equipment.
- Ensure equipment is used properly, safely, and maintained in good working condition.
- Monitor the quality of work performed at each property and ensure company standards are consistently met.
- Identify and address landscaping issues or deficiencies and communicate them to management when necessary.
- Ensure crews follow proper safety procedures and company policies.
- Manage time effectively to keep routes on schedule without sacrificing quality.
- Train and guide crew members on proper lawn care techniques, equipment operation, and job-site expectations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers, property managers, and team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care maintenance and landscaping, with a strong understanding of proper lawn care practices and basic horticultural principles.
- Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience in a lawn care or landscaping environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of professional lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and proper equipment operation.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus but not required.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively motivate, train, and manage a team while maintaining productivity and high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, property managers, and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple properties and routes, and ensure all assigned work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Ability and willingness to perform hands-on landscaping work, including lifting and moving heavy materials and operating lawn care equipment for extended periods.
- Knowledge of and experience operating all standard lawn care equipment is mandatory, including commercial mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and related equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and professionalism at every property.
- Ability to lead by example, working alongside the crew while ensuring that company standards and procedures are followed.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory, as the position requires driving company vehicles to various job sites.
- Reliable transportation and a professional work ethic are expected.

Qualifications
- With experience in lawn maintenance - It is mandatory;
- Preferable with Irrigation license is a plus and very welcome but not mandatory;
- Driver's License (Required) - It is mandatory;
- Work from Monday to Saturday;
- Start 6:30 AM up to 4:30PM, after the routes done.
- No language barrier - accepted english, or spanish speakers.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily lawn care operations, ensuring all assigned properties are serviced efficiently, professionally, and according to company standards.
- Oversee the crew’s work, including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weed control, tree and shrub care, garden and bed maintenance, and other landscape maintenance services.
- Monitor and ensure the proper care and maintenance of irrigation systems, plantings, hardscapes, and other landscape features within assigned properties.
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule, safely, efficiently, and with consistent attention to quality and detail.
- Lead by example by working alongside the crew and assisting with hands-on lawn and landscape maintenance tasks when needed.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on proper lawn care techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Inspect completed work at each property and address any areas that do not meet the company’s quality expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and proper equipment operating practices at all times.
- Maintain all lawn care and landscaping equipment in clean, safe, and proper working condition.
- Perform and oversee routine equipment maintenance, including changing engine oil, sharpening mower blades, greasing equipment, checking fluids, cleaning equipment, and identifying mechanical issues.
- Train crew members on proper equipment maintenance and ensure they understand how to properly care for and operate company equipment.
- Report equipment problems, repairs, and maintenance needs to management promptly to prevent unnecessary downtime.
- Communicate professionally with clients, property managers, and team members, addressing questions or concerns and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Monitor daily routes and crew productivity to ensure properties are completed efficiently and within the scheduled timeframes without compromising quality.
- Identify potential landscape, irrigation, or property issues and communicate them to management with appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic while representing the company at all job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
