Senior Manufacturing Accountant

Our manufacturing client in the Greenfield MA area is seeking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Accountant to support financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to make an impact within a growing organization.

Your qualifications for the Senior Manufacturing Accountant position are as follows:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
7+ years of accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
Experience with ERP/accounting systems
Background in month-end close and account reconciliations
Strong Excel, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

For the Senior Manufacturing Accountant, your duties will include:

Support monthly and annual financial close activities
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries
Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger activity
Assist with audits, tax support, and compliance reporting
Support inventory and manufacturing-related accounting functions
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Partner with various departments to improve reporting and processes
Help identify efficiencies, strengthen controls, and support system improvements
