Overview

Duties

Assist Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high performance, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.
Manage inventory control and food ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Support menu planning and recipe development, incorporating dietary considerations and catering requirements.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen.
Coordinate with the catering team for banquet events, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
Lead shift management duties, including assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and resolving operational issues promptly.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Experience creating entrees from scratch and catering proficiency preferred.
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production, food handling, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated expertise in banquet service, event catering, and dietary department operations.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and food service management practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to the food industry.
Experience working in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on serving high-quality cuisine.
