Princeton Child Development Institute (PCDI.org)
Full‑Time Live‑In Position (Private Onsite Suite Provided)

The role, designed for a couple or an individual, includes a comprehensive residential package in addition to the annual salary. Private onsite suite, utilities, and groceries provided (valued at $55,000 annually)

Location: Princeton, NJ

Schedule: Full-Time, Live-In

Salary for Individual 55,000-60,000

Salary for couples: 110,000-120,000

Princeton Child Development Institute (PCDI), a nationally recognized leader in applied behavior analysis (ABA) for individuals with autism, is seeking a couple to reside in a community-based home for five adults with autism. As the Live-In coordinators, you will occupy a spacious private area within the home. Your living quarters offer the perfect blend of privacy and accessibility providing an excellent quality of life for both residents and staff. The home is additionally supported by two full-time direct support professionals, a trainer/consultant who ensures consistent implementation of programming, and awake overnight staff.

Position Summary

The Residential Coordinators are responsible for providing immersive support to adults with autism while maintaining appropriate personal space and work‑life balance. You will support daily living skills, community participation, communication goals, and individualized ABA programming based on PCDI’s research‑driven methods.

Sample Schedule: The residential coordinators will typically work five of the seven days of the week, within the typical hours of Monday - Friday 2-10pm, and 8am-4pm or 2pm-10pm on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety of group home residents

· Establish comfortable and supportive relationships with residents and colleagues

· Create and maintain a home-like living and learning environment that enhances the quality- of-life experience for residents

· Exercise good judgment and remain calm when faced with a crisis

· Teach and assist in the development of learners' instruction and treatment goals with special emphasis on home and community-living skills, social skills, and language and communication skills

· Drive residents to and from activities in a company-owned vehicle or your own vehicle, when necessary

· Support residents with daily activities including leisure and recreational activities, medical appointments, and community outings

· Effectively manage time and productivity

· Communicate effectively with parents, siblings, neighbors, and colleagues

Collect, summarize, and analyze ongoing data regarding skill acquisition and behavior management programs for learners

Document all services provided in accordance with state and federal regulations

Manage residents' financial records

Oversee and train junior colleagues with the guidance of the trainer/consultant

Prepare monthly staff schedules

Manage general home maintenance tasks

Maintain and update administrative documentation as required by New Jersey Division of Development Disabilities (DDD) and the Office of Licensing

Participate in scheduled and unannounced inspections conducted by DDD

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or BCBA certification preferred

· 3–5 years of experience in behavior analysis or residential support

· Strong understanding of ABA principles and data-driven instruction

· Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license

· Successful background checks and drug testing required

Skills & Traits:

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

· Strong data analysis and documentation ability

· Ability to work collaboratively and independently

· Comfortable in a dynamic residential environment

Work Environment:
Live-in position within a residential home setting. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and transporting individuals. Must be flexible, adaptable, and responsive to changing needs and schedules.
