Full Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Hadkins Manufacturing Solutions is a small precision machining shop in Hudson, WI, and we're hiring an experienced CNC machinist. Due to growing demand, we need someone who takes pride in tight tolerances and clean work — and the owner is on the floor with you, not in a far-off office.

No corporate runaround. No high-volume production drudge. If you actually like the trade, this is a shop that respects it.

Pay: Up to $38/hr, depending on experience

Job type: Full-time

Location: On-site in Hudson, WI

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Program, edit, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Select tooling and materials for each job and make program edits as needed
Adjust speeds and feeds to optimize quality and efficiency
Hold tight tolerances using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators
Inspect finished parts and document results
Weld as jobs call for it — roughly 10–20% of the work, not an all-day welding role
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work alongside a small team — owner included — to hit production goals and deadlines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Hands-on CNC programming, set-up, and operation experience (we value strong fundamentals over a long resume)
Comfortable reading prints and using precision measuring tools
Welding experience is a real plus — it's part of the role, no certification required
Pride in your work — clean setups, accurate measurements, parts you'd put your name on
A self-starter who can run independently and collaborate when it counts
Willing to learn how we do things and bring your own ideas where they help
